To buy a GiftPesa voucher, dial *483*18#, select the buy option, enter amount, then enter your M-Pesa pin.
How do I send a voucher?
To send a gift voucher to your friends and loved ones, dial *483*18#, select the “Share” option, enter the recipient’s phone number, then enter the amount you want to send.
How does bulk disbursement work?
Bulk disbursement is a feature that lets you upload an Excel sheet of the voucher recipients, then the system sends vouchers to all of them at once, together with a personalized SMS message. This feature is only available to businesses, not individuals.

Is there a limit on the vouchers I can buy or send using a business account?
No. There’s no limit to the vouchers you can buy or send using a business account.
Is there a limit on the vouchers I can buy or send using the personal account?
Yes. When using a personal account, you can only buy or send vouchers up to the maximum daily limit set by your mobile money service provider.
How do I redeem my giftpesa voucher?
To redeem your GiftPesa voucher, visit any of our redemption partners, pick the good(s) or service(s) you want, then dial the GiftPesa USSD code *483*18#. The system will show you your voucher balance and a menu with different options. Select the “Redeem” option, enter the outlet’s Till Number, followed by amount.
Can I redeem the giftpesa voucher partially?
Yes, you can redeem the voucher partially.
How do I check my giftpesa voucher balance?
To check your GiftPesa balance, dial *483*18# and your balance will be displayed on your phone’s screen.
What is the validity period of the voucher?
The voucher is valid for 12 months.
What happens after 12 Months?
