Our Journey
GiftPesa was founded to revolutionize the gifting process by introducing digital vouchers. In the same year, the company signed its first customer, marking the beginning of its journey.
GiftPesa was selected as a finalist in the Standard Chartered Women in Tech Incubation Program and joined the 8th Angel Fair Africa Cohort. By the end of the year, the company had garnered 50 customers, showcasing steady growth.
GiftPesa became a finalist in the K-Startup Grand Challenge and integrated its mini-app into the M-Pesa super app, significantly increasing its user base and convenience. The company also reached a milestone of 100 customers.
GiftPesa won the prestigious Fintech Innovation Award, highlighting its impact and innovative approach in the fintech industry.
GiftPesa achieved a remarkable total of 800+ customers. The company is also developing a mobile app, set to launch in Q4, to further enhance user experience and expand its digital gifting solutions
